This coming Saturday, Cibola’s own Golden Regiment Marching Band will be performing their show for a final time at the annual Zia Marching Fiesta.
The Fiesta will be at the University of New Mexico football stadium. Cibola’s performance will be at 2:45 p.m.
One of Ms. Jones’s (Cibola’s new band director) biggest goals for the band is to make finals in this competition, which would mean performing again after their 2:45 performance. Every band that participates in the competition performs in the preliminary section of the event. Depending on how the judges score each performance, 10 bands will be able to perform again in the finals section.
