    Alex Kershaw: a WW2 Journalist

Best selling author and journalist, Alex Kershaw is famously known for his historian works on WWII. The acclaimed author has written many books on soldiers and the over all time period including The Longest Winter, The First Wave, and Against All Odds. His book, The Liberator was made into a Netflix Docuseries with accurate details and information on this devastating event. You can almost feel their fear and their pain. You learn about people who helped fight for the freedom you have. Graduated from Oxford University, he had his whole life dedicated to this one specific point in history. While many may find it  seemingly wasteful to spend so many years researching peoples lives and deaths, most of which were horrific and inhumane. But it’s not his 12 best sellers or new Netflix docuseries based on his book that he is most proud of. Its not the awards or the money. Its the information. Its the lives of those hes written about. Its the stories he gets to tell and the awareness he spreads for war. He recently made time to come to Cibola High School and, while it was a small gathering, made a very memorable appearance. He has spoke to many people of all  varieties. Ranging from giving speeches and lectures at the Air Force Academy and other High Schools all over the world. His works are very detailed and provide you with a sense of empathy and love for the lives that were cost. His works are highly recommended to anyone who is interested in gaining highly detailed insight on this terrifying, detrimental event. You can find more information on him and his works on his website, https://alexkershaw.com/.
