Seniors
Congratulations to the class of 2025. You’ve worked for nearly 4 years now, and here comes your reward. This tab has everything you need to stay up to date on graduation.
The basic dates:
- April 26 – Prom – @ Explora
- April 21-25 – Powderpuff
- Senior Finals – May 8-9
- Senior BBQ – Optional. Date TBA
- May 14 – Caps and Gown handout, 2 PM
- May 15 – Grad Walks, starts at 8:30
- May 16 Honors Assembly – Required for all students that plan to participate in Graduation. The Honors Assembly is held in the Cibola gym.
- At 5:00 pm all graduates must report to Cibola for graduation rehearsal followed by the Senior Awards Assembly. The Awards Assembly begins at 6:30pm. Doors will open at 6:00.
- Attendance, in full graduation attire, is mandatory. Full graduation attire means cap, gown, and stole, white dress or black slacks with white dress shirt underneath.
- May 19 9:30am – Graduation – The ceremony begins at 9:30 am at Tingley Coliseum. Graduates will be asked to show up by 7:30 am. There are no tickets required for admission. Doors open at 8:30 am for spectators. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Noisemakers, glass vases, balloons, and signs are prohibited. ADA seating available.

Caps and Gowns
You should have ordered your cap/gown already, but if you have not, here is the site to place an order. If you have already ordered, deliver will happen at Cibola the week of May 12th, 2025. Campus Specialties: https://www.campusspecialtiesinc.com/schools/cibola-high-school
Dress code
You must wear a white dress with white or nude dress shoes, or black black skirts with a white blouse and black shoes, or black slacks with a white dress shirt, black tie, and black shoes. Cultural attire may be worn below your cap. Questions regarding attire should be directed to Mrs. Chavez.
Fines
All fines must be paid before you may pick up your cap/gown and diploma. Your fines can be accessed through ParentVue/StudentVue, or you can pay in person with Ms. Aragon, our bookkeeper.
Final Next Step Plan
Your final Next Step Plan must be completed via Level All. Share it with Mr. Sena ([email protected]) when you finish it. To access it, open the site, log in using your school Google account, go to the JOURNEYS tab, click “Put Your Post-grad Plans into Action in 12th Grade (New Mexico) Curriculum”, and then click “Create the final Next Step Plan”.

Ordering Yearbooks
If you want a yearbook, now is the time to purchase one, as they may sell out. They cost $80 and they will be distributed the last week of April. To purchase one, go to Yearbook Order Center, and enter Cibola’s school code, 12602.
Grad Walks
We will do Graduate Walks at nearby schools on May 15th, starting at 8:30. While this is not required, the students that have participated in the past have found these “walks” to be a highlight of their graduation experience.
