Phishing scams and spam emails have infiltrated APS and are being sent by seemingly normal student and teacher accounts to your APS email. While these emails may seem benign, they may be stealing information, and students are to not respond to these emails.
Here is an example of a typical phishing email:

While this may seem like a totally normal email, it is not, and you should ignore it and report it through Gmail. Upon opening the email, there will be a 3 dot icon in the upper right-hand corner. Click on this, and find the little hook icon to report phishing. Then, delete the email.
Stay internet safe. Until next time, Cougars.
