Sunday, November 24 from 9am-1pm, Cibola is hosting Steps For Hope Walk/Run event in honor of Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women. The event is sponsored by Cibola High School Jobs For America’s Graduates.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for number of laps traveled.
Registration fees are as follows: $20 for adults, $10 for APS students, and children under 10 are free.
To register, scan the QR code on any Steps For Hope poster you find in the halls. Donations are welcome and also accessed by QR code. No refunds.
All proceeds go to First Nations Community Healthsource to support indigenous women experiencing housing instability or unsafe conditions.
