You feel everything; it is intense and raw. You become connected to something inside of yourself. A piece of poetry is made of key elements such as sound and rhyme, figurative language, subject, theme, mood, and more. Put together in stanzas and verses, recited with passion and feeling. Poets use their deepest feelings to create a connection with not only themselves, but others as well. People read these pieces, it ressonates with them, and they feel understood. If a certain piece isnt of your taste, you can easily find a different themed or toned piece that represents you. Poetry uses literature and emotions to connect us to something and we severely take for granted the access to different poets and poetry pieces we have.
