Mock Interview Day is coming up on Monday, March 18th, 2024. This is a day where sophomore high school students get to experience how it would be to be interviewed for a job by a volunteer from the business community.
Sophomores more should have prepared things such as their resume, application and cover letter.
Sophomores are going to be asked questions as if there were to be applying for a job. Students are expected to dress formally and look tidy and clean.
Sophomores can prepare by answering some of these questions so they feel confident in their answer when in the interview:
1- This year, how many days of work or school did you miss? Why?
2-Why is education important to you?
3-What is your process for organizing and completing homework assignments?
4-What skills do you have that would make you a valuable employee?
5-If a coworker is uncooperative how would you deal with the situation?
English teachers will help prepare students for their interviews and will be the one putting the grade in for it.
All sophomores will participate in this interview day, and with the correct preparation and studying they can succeed.
