Tonight, our own Golden Regiment symphonic and wind ensemble bands will be holding their Pre-MPA (Music Performance Assessment) concert in the Cibola Performing Arts Center at 7:00 PM.
The band also invited James Monroe and Taylor Middle Schools to play some of their own music as well as a combined piece with all three schools called “Aggressivo” by Randall Standridge.
The Cibola wind ensemble will be playing “Strange Humors” by John Mackey and “Fracas” by Randall Standridge. And the symphonic band will be playing “American Riversongs” by Pierre La Plante and “Trail of Tears” by James Barnes.
