Our next spirit week is coming up! The week of December 11th through the 15th will be full of themed days and fun activities for all.

• Monday – Merry Merry Morning Monday: Wear PJ’s for Monday’s theme!

1. The first set of beads are free. We’ll be in the concourse handing them out before school and during the first couple passing periods on Monday.
2. Tournament begins after advisory. This gives us a chance to make sure most get their free set.
3. Anyone with beads can challenge anyone else with beads to Rock, paper, scissors. Winner gets the loser’s beads.
4. If a person has many sets of beads, they lose five sets with a loss. If they have more than 5 sets, they keep the rest.
5. Students and staff can buy a new set of beads ($1) on Tuesday in the concourse before school and during passing periods, while supplies last. When we run out, we run out. Money goes to Cougar Closet.
6. Finals will be in the Concourse at lunch on Wednesday. The 6 players that show up with the most beads will challenge each other in a head to head tournament. Top two get a first round bye. We have great prizes for the final two.
7. I’ll get on the intercom at the beginning of first period to explain the rules quickly tomorrow morning. I’ll get on again at the end of advisory to start the tournament.

• Tuesday – Red or Green? Come dressed as either red, green, or Christmas! We will also play Rochambeau for Beads all day. Play Rock, Paper, Scissors to earn other’s beads and compete in an all or nothing tournament during a lunch for prizes!
• Wednesday – Awkward Family Photos: Coordinate with your friends to dress up as one coherently incoherent family! Pictures of your group will also be taken during lunch with two backgrounds to choose from..
• Thursday – Ugly Sweaters: Wear your worst sweater on Thursday. Supplies for candy grams will also be freely available for you to make up to two grams for your friends that will be delivered during 2nd period Monday.
• Friday – Hit the Slopes: Show up ready to go skiing, sledding, or snowboarding for Friday’s theme!

So, prepare for a week of good fun, laughs, and themes! I hope to see you all dressed up in your worst sweaters, best snow gear, and your favorite PJ’s.
